BUCKET LIST

I didn't know what a bucket list was until this morning. It's a list of things that you've always wanted to do but could not. So later in life you set about doing what's on the list before you die. Apparently a film with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman played this idea up and the two set about doing things on their bucket lists.

Morgan Freeman was in a late night automobile accident last Saturday. He was with a lady friend who was taking him home after an evening of who knows what. . . Hmmmm. Three days later it is announced that Morgan and his wife were divorcing. The article made it seem that it had been in the works for a while. I wonder if the divorce of the accident were still on Morgan's bucket list. Since he is in his 70's don't you think it's a little late to be changing horses in the middle of a stream, Morgan?

As for Jack Nicholson, do you really think there's anything in this world that Jack hasn't done? I get the feeling that he pretty much does what he wants to do. And that's a fact, Jack!

I'm thinking that no one should have a bucket list. Why wait, I ask myself, until you're about to croak to begin doing all of those things you've always wanted to do. Do it now and don't save it for later. Life is too, too short.

So what would be on my bucket list if I were to make one? Honestly, I can't think of anything. If I want to do it, I do it. If I want to buy something, I buy it. If I want to screw someone, I screw them (but not in the Biblical sense for fear of having my nuts cut off by the wife - - and she would.) because that's part of what I do for a living. If I want to go somewhere I go there.

Living life on life's terms can be tough at times. Life's terms takes you away from what you really want to be doing. You want it to be on your terms but often that's an impossible dream.

When you think about what you really want to be doing keep this in mind: Just do it!

And you should. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.........

It's a great movie Dad, you ought to check it out. Then go buy a Corvette AND a Porsche--kick the X5 out on the street with the truck where they belong.
