WHY?
When we traveled the midwest there were a lot of gas stations called Kum and Go. Why? That's what I'd ask myself as we sped past these places with such a strange name.
A massage parlor would be a better place for this name.
A little research on my part revealed that back in the 50's two guys got together and bought their first gas station. The K in Kum is the first letter of the last name of one of the guys. And of course, the G in Go is the first letter of the last name of the other guy.
What were they thinking?

LOL! It might as well have been owned by two Koreans since Kum (pronounced "guem") and Go are both family names.
