Thursday and it's a day for playtime

One of Gracie's little girl friends is coming over to play this morning. Time for Bob to hit the streets to avoid all of the giggling, tee-heeing, running around, hide and seek, let's play this, let's do that, I'm hungry. . . what's to eat? . . . Oh, oh, this just broke, Grammy, she's not playing fair. . .

You know the drill. Sure, kid's play is delightful. We should all do it. Doing it and observing it are two different things.

So as not to spoil the fun with my sometimes grumpy disposition, I'll hit the streets for a couple of hours while the girls have their fun. I'll shop. Have lunch. Check on the boat and do a little cleaning while there. It's not hard to fill a couple of hours away from home. There's always something in Cowtown to get my attention.

Wifey will probably dodge all of the action by siting under a tree in the backyard while the girls so their play day thing. It's a good thing to stay out of the line of fire.

Bob, I could not agree with you more! I always try to get out of the way of Children's playtime...especially when it turns vicious.

Is that Wifey sitting under the tree? Man she has killer legs! Kudos to you Bob!

Fox: Yup, that's Wifey and her long legs. I've got the marks around my neck to prove it.....

Just "check" on the boat? How 'bout a rip around the lake! I need Dad to be skilled when I come out.

Difficult if not close to impossible to leave the dock and return without help . . . especially where we're moored. Yeah, it can be done but there would be damage. Besides, the lake is basically flat lined: No wind. Close to 100 degree temps.

As for skill aside from docking, no problem. Once a sailor . . .
