It's Damn, Phallic!
Yesterday morning the new rigging went on SP and then it was time to hoist her mast.
No sooner had the mast been raised when a neighbor popped over and said, "Hell of an erection ya got there, Bob. It's damn phallic!"
Son-in-law chimes in, "Better put an aircraft warning beacon on the top of the mast. That's one high son-bitch!"
The new outboard was hung (it arrived Saturday) onto the stern. Friday new flooring goes into the cabin (a teak/holly blend).
Come next week we'll be ready to rock and roll!
It is gorgeous! I bet you can't wait to have her back in the water.

ReplyDeleteWeeder: LOL, like it's owner, hung very well with an extra long shaft for depth.
When I was a teenager, we used to have a Vietnamese neighbour whose last name was Hung. When my dad saw him outside, he used to greet him "Are you well, Hung?" to which our neighbour would reply "Yes, I am well, thank you for asking". I'm sure that Hung never caught on to the joke.
