GROOVES CUT IN THE HIGHWAY = WILLIAM TELL OVERTURE!

Honda, as part of a commercial stunt, cut grooves in the highway near Lancaster California. Each set of grooves has a muscial tone to it. So check this out . . . here's the result of Honda's endeavor . . . only in California. . . and yes, doesn't Honda have anything better to do?!

  1. Kudos to Honda for paying these bozos to do this...

And then when I go buy a car...prices get jacked up!

    Nice!

  3. If you know how the melody should go and you listen to what they did, you'll hear that they got the intervals wrong. It's sorta like the Lone Ranger theme (William Tell Overture), but it's not exactly correct.

Apparently, they never had a musician on board their team, so when the consensus said, "Yeah, that's it," they all went along with it. Too bad.
